Kendall's First Day of Preschool

Today my baby had her first day of preschool!! I got all emotional driving away this morning after dropping her off. Not because I was worried or anything, (I drop her off places all the time!) but just because this milestone means she is getting older and growing up so fast. Plus I get so emotional and overwhelmed everytime she is around her teachers (could be the preggo hormones). They are SO great and so loving with the kids, it just makes me feel so blessed to know that she has such amazing teachers. She is going to Wilkins Learning Center preschool and her teacher is Miss Wilkins.

Here is Kendall all set and ready for school this morning!
(The school is very tiny so the kids can't bring backpacks because there is not enough space. But she picked out this new lunchbox for her snacks to bring. I was kinda bummed at first about the whole backpack thing, but figure it will make it that much more fun & special come kindergarten!)

Seriously?! Check out the foot!!

Showing off her new lunch bag

She was very annoyed with me at this point because she was so excited to just wanted to go inside!

(not my favorite picture....I'm 20 months pregnant though, so guess I need to come to terms with it...)

Already having fun!

Kendall with her teacher, Miss Wilkins!!!

She had a fun first day, and her teacher even called my cell phone in the afternoon and left Kendall a message telling her what a great job she did in school today, how cute is that?!
We did lots of other fun special things today as well, but I will put that in a different post.

  2. The school likes an old school red brick school house and I LOVE it!! And seriously her puppy lunch box? OMG I just love her. She is so original and not grabbing hello kitty or dora off the shelf. I love it. So glad she is doing well and that you love her teachers so much. Good job Momma!
