Weekend in Sedona

Ok, so now I'm on a roll....I'll do another post!! Still trying to figure this out as I go....I could use a little advice from some of my "pro" blogging friends though!!

We decided to take a spontaneous little weekend trip to Sedona, and bravely brought Kendall along for the fun and relaxation. The weather was a little cooler than Phoenix, so it was a nice relief. We stayed at Amara resort, which is right next to a creek. We spent the day on Saturday eating out, swimming in the pool, and hanging out at the hotel. That evening we went to this AMAZING fancy restaurant that was outside right next to the creek. The food was unbelievable and the setting was even better.

Daddy thought it would be fun to take this poor turtle out of it's little pond home at the hotel, and let Kendall hold it. She dropped it SMACK on the ground about 10 seconds after this picture was taken.....poor turtle.

It was such a fun weekend and Kendall had a blast. She LOVES staying in hotels, she thinks it's so much fun. On our way home we stopped in Jerome, which is a historic town really high up on a hill. We had never been there before, and had heard it is really neat to see. It was really interesting, but I didn't take any pics there because I was SOOO hot. We had a fun weekend away as a family!
